When you check out that pic of Australian style star Nicole Warne in her off-the-shoulder look, does some version of, "I need to get me some of that!" come to mind immediately? If it does, you're right on trend. The folks at Pinterest basically know us better than we do ourselves, with insight into exactly what we're searching for and pinning (a sure indication of what's bubbling up in real time). Even though the vernal equinox just passed, early birds have been planning their spring style for awhile, and the season's biggest trends are now very apparent.

"We saw spring fashion popping up in January, and it really picked up steam in February," Larkin Brown, researcher and in-house stylist at Pinterest, shared with us. Specifically, exposed shoulders have had a strong presence, making it a sure thing that once the sun comes out, you'll be seeing dresses and tops like Miss Warne's everywhere. "The off-the-shoulder trend has firmly taken hold on Pinterest. Shoulder-baring looks have doubled since the beginning of January."

The other trends that Pinterest knows will be exploding on streets near you soon?

Bold earrings.
Statement necklaces and arm party situations have given way to pay-attention earrings. "Instead of the minimalist studs that previously dominated Pinterest, drop earrings and chandeliers are gaining ground," Larkin said.
